Choosing the right keyword is not as hard as you think. You need only to study them first before using it. For example, all the words in the dictionary are already used as keywords by most of the established websites. But of course, your keywords should be closely related to your chosen topic. Words in the dictionary today could still be used, no problem on that. But try to type one in the search box first and press the enter key.

You’ll be faced with around 100 million search results if I’m not mistaken. It means that you’ll be having a hard time promoting your website using that single word keyword before it will appear on the search engine. Your website may not appear also even if you’ll promote it continuously because all the sites related to that particular keyword are also being promoted.

So you see how hard to be on the first page of the search result page. But you can of course, and by choosing the right keywords, your website will appear on the first page or even number one in the first page of the search result.

How would you dot it? You can do it by choosing not a keyword, but a keyphrase. Yes, you’ll be using a phrase that will serve as your keyword(s). Don’t be confused on this, single word keywords are of high competition and since your website is new, it is better to locate a key phrase with only a million of competitors within.

Use a keyphrase in which it has the possibility that an internet user will type in the search box. If this happens, for sure, your website will appear as the number one in the first page of the search results.
